It’s that time of year when our Creative team takes on Inktober: a fun, daily drawing challenge to challenge and expand your creativity and design. In our 4th year participating, we’re taking the experience to the next level. (We are an experiential marketing agency, after all). We’ve created our own primer, and we’ll be encouraging our entire creative team to participate. Check out our quick FAQ on all things Inktober 2019.
What is Inktober?
Inktober is a challenge to help you improve and develop your drawing skills. Throughout October, participants will draw a small, daily sketch which portrays their interpretation of the prompt.
How do I participate?
The rules are pretty simple:
- Draw whatever the primer dictates for your imagination
- Take a picture or scan your drawing, and post it to social using #Inktober, #Inktober2019 and #OBEInktober

What makes this one different?
In order to make Inktober, well, #OBEInktober, we swapped some of the words with terms that speak to our company culture. The OBE-centric ones are shown in orange.

We’ll be posting on our OBE social channels throughout the month, but you can follow #OBEInktober on Instagram to see what our team is creating.
Anything else?
If you don’t have time to draw on a particular day, that’s okay! On the day’s you do have time, simply grab a pen and start drawing. We encourage you to think outside the box, but remember: there are NO bad drawings. It’s gonna be great.
