Starbies Pop-up
To celebrate Taylor Swift’s ablum, The Life of a Showgirl, Starbucks and OBE transformed the Vanderbilt shop in Nashville into Starbies — a love letter to fans where glitter, coffee, and community took center stage.
Designed by Swifties, for Swifties, the two-day takeover transformed the iconic coffeehouse into a glitter-coated party for showgirls of all ages.
Outside, a 41-foot orange vinyl record shimmered against Tennessee's opalite skies, drawing fans from every era. Starbucks crafted the ultimate atmosphere for Swifties to buy the latest record, gifting them free cold brew, matcha and chai, playing the tracklist on repeat, capturing smiles in an orange and mint photobooth, and inviting them to make new friends (and friendship bracelets). Inside, baristas sparkled in showgirl-inspired aprons.
For one unforgettable weekend, Nashville stole the spotlight as Starbies became the only pop-up of its kind in the U.S., a true fusion of fandom and brand magic.
