We’ve become masters at store openings over the years, so when Allbirds came to us with plans for Flatiron, New York and Fulton Market, Chicago opportunities—we knew exactly how to knock it out of the park. We created a strategic (and obsessively detailed) playbook to help maximize the success of Allbirds' store opening series and beyond.
Our goal was to introduce the local communities to Allbirds in a way that helped them get a feel for the brand, products and values—movement and sustainability. We hosted mindful movement yoga sessions, built flora walls, taught workshops on plant care, and led 5k group runs and nature walks. Through these events, we grew deep roots that kept customers coming back for more. Each community member also walked away with a handy shoe-cleaning kit to keep their new kicks in top notch shape.
