Starbucks and OBE’s fan-favorite Starbies experience has been named a finalist in The Drum Awards for Marketing Americas in the Live or In-Person Experience category, recognizing standout experiential campaigns that drive cultural relevance, audience engagement, and creative innovation.

The category recognizes immersive brand experiences delivered entirely in physical environments, celebrating activations that demonstrate experiential innovation, exceptional execution, and meaningful audience engagement.

Created as a surprise-and-delight moment for Swifties, Starbucks and OBE reimagined the Nashville store Taylor once frequented as an orange glitter-drenched Starbies — a dazzling tribute to The Life of a Showgirl, revealed on album release day with no pre-promotion. Developed and executed in partnership with Starbucks, the experience brought together fandom, participation, and experiential storytelling in a culturally resonant moment discovered organically by fans.

The Drum Awards for Marketing Americas celebrates the region’s most innovative and effective work across marketing, advertising, media, and experiential design. Winners will be announced on June 4 at the Edison Ballroom in New York City.
