Chief Client Officer Meimei Zimmerman is all about teams—building great relationships, inside OBE and out. She cultivates new relationships, grows existing accounts, resources people effectively, plans for their success and inspires them to grow. One of her favorite aspects of the job? To match a client’s need with a team member’s passion. Bold moves requiring clear vision are Zimmerman’s specialty. She started out (quickly climbing the ranks) in corporate PR and Advertising for entertainment, film, tech and fashion.
Then she took a hiatus to work as a scuba dive instructor and underwater videographer. (How many can say that?) Next came her immersion into experiential when she joined OBE in 2006. Zimmerman first supported Nike’s running activations across the U.S., then started consulting for Nike Asia-Pacific, managing global running campaigns and even traveling with the brand to the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
She now manages OBE’s CPG and B2B/Tech silos, where she’s quickly expanded and diversified the client roster. Zimmerman has managed teams for Apple, Meta, Salesforce, Uber, Lyft, AirBnB, Subaru, Audi China, MINI Cooper, Kashi, Bear Naked, Mrs. Meyers Cleaning Day, Cheez-It, and Eggo, among others. Unsurprisingly, she’s traveled to 28 countries and has spoken six languages over the years.
