Chief Partnership Officer Alvin Stafford believes, “we should approach every relationship searching for what we can give, not what we can get.” He is beyond invested in the strategic success of every account he touches and prides himself on mentoring his team, nurturing their talent and positioning them to succeed. Stafford’s always respected the power of experiences to create a lasting impact. For almost 15 years, he ran his own boutique agency, specializing in sport, community and entertainment marketing. His goal for each client and activation is to build emotional, authentic connections that audiences would find hard to forget. He brought this mentality with him to OBE in 2016.

These days, Alvin challenges his account teams to deliver raw and real experiences for Nike Global and Basketball North America, along with other sports and community accounts. He’s also led teams to create experiences for the NBAPA, Essence, and, most recently, Chase Bank.

Southern-born and inner city-raised, he played basketball at Compton High and Patten Christian College and later went on to study Community Development and Civic Engagement at the University of Southern California.

His trademark? Meaningful mottos and unwavering positivity. According to Alvin, "the best is yet to come!"
