What happens when the energy of a party fuels a workout through the streets with a crowd moved by music, running to the same beat at the same time? Beats1 Run. On Sunday, October 25, 2015 Beats and Apple Music brought together thousands of fans for a 5k run powered by the DJ’s of Beats 1. Cheered on with a custom mix by Samantha Ronson, runners in L.A., N.Y.C., Paris and London took to the streets, the parks, the waterfronts—all listening to the same mix. At the same time, people from 100+ countries joined the run virtually and were propelled by the same playlist.
The Results: Thousands of Runners/Influencers. 40% increase in Instagram followers. #Beats1Run trended No. 1 on Instagram.
