Dave Mingey is a globally respected sports business executive, marketer, and entrepreneur whose career spans the brand, agency, property, and government sectors. He has been professionally involved in nearly every major global sporting platform, including multiple Olympic and Paralympic Games, FIFA World Cups, Super Bowls, NCAA Championships, and IAAF World Championships. Frequently quoted by international media as an expert on the sports and entertainment industry, David is also a sought-after speaker and has presented at leading global forums such as the World Congress of Sport, SXSW, the Leaders Sports Business Global Summit, and the #Hashtag Sports Tech Conference. He has additionally served as a guest lecturer at colleges and universities around the world.

Dave currently serves as President of Onboard Sports Advisory, where he counsels brands, properties, and rights holders on leveraging sport as a driver of enterprise value. He also recently served as Senior Vice President of Commercial Partnerships for U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Properties (USOPP), the joint venture between LA28 and the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee created to oversee all commercial activity for the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Movement. In that role, he led landmark partnerships for Team USA and the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games during the most ambitious sponsorship cycle in global sports history.

Previously, Dave was Managing Director of CSM’s North American consulting business following the acquisition of GlideSlope, the internationally recognized advisory firm he founded in 2010. Under his leadership, GlideSlope grew into a multi-million-dollar enterprise advising blue-chip clients including AB InBev, Citi, Dow, Gatorade, McDonald’s, The North Face, and the NY/NJ Super Bowl Committee, before being sold to private equity. Earlier in his career, Dave led high-impact global marketing and communications initiatives for some of the world’s most influential brands, including Nike, Johnson & Johnson, PepsiCo, and SiriusXM, and also served in leadership roles within the U.S. Department of Defense.

Throughout his career, Dave has held senior leadership positions across marketing, communications, sponsorship, sales, media, and social impact, consistently operating at the intersection of brand strategy, commercial growth, and cultural relevance. His work has been recognized by Sports Business Journal, which named him an “Olympic Power Player” and honored him with its Forty Under 40 Award.
