How to become an OBE supplier.

If you are a small and/or diverse business interested in working with OBE, please register your company. Should a sourcing opportunity become available for which you are qualified, a member of the OBE team will contact you directly.

Our supplier diversity program provides a competitive advantage.

Small and diverse businesses drive our economy on both the national and local levels. Promoting an environment for these businesses to thrive is important to OBE, and we are taking steps to accomplish this by fostering an inclusive procurement process that provides the maximum opportunity for small and diverse businesses to participate as partners and suppliers of goods and services.

We actively pursue engaging with businesses in several diverse categories.

In addition to small businesses, OBE is interested in engaging with businesses that fall into one or more of the following diversity categories:

Disability-owed Business Enterprise (DOBE)
Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB Zone)
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender -owned Business Enterprises (LGBTBE)
Minority-owned Business Enterprises (MBE)

Service-disabled Veteran-owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB)
Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDB)
Veteran-owned Small Businesses (VOSB)
Woman-owned Business Enterprises (WBE)

These businesses must be at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled by persons who fit into one of these categories. MBE, WBE, LGBTBE, SDVOSB and VOSB businesses must be certified as such by an independent certification agency. Owners of businesses that fall into the other categories must be willing to sign a self-classification affidavit.
